My Tai Chi classes: forms, structure, how a lesson runs
Here you will find every form I teach, with structure, duration and what you need to start.
I teach the traditional Yang style of T’ai Chi Ch’uan after Cheng Man-ch'ing and Yang Chengfu. My particular emphasis is on learning the form correctly. T’ai Chi Ch’uan is an internal martial art. Every movement of the form carries several applications. Knowing the applications deepens the understanding of the form and serves, above all, a clear and precise execution.
Tai Chi is a gentle and safe form of exercise that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Whether you are a beginner or already have experience in Tai Chi: you are welcome. I invite you to get to know the art of Tai Chi in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, or to deepen it.

How a class proceeds
A class lasts 100 minutes. It usually opens with loosening and energy exercises, followed by teaching of the form, partner exercises and a break; meditation exercises are added depending on the session. The partner exercises are sequences of movements carried out in pairs. For advanced Tai Chi students I also teach Tui Shou (Push Hands): two people keep contact at the arms and learn to sense the partner's flow of energy, to yield to the partner's pressure, and to keep their own structure.

Alongside the regular classes I give multi-day seminars, single workshops and courses for companies. There are no fixed dates for these at the moment — they are arranged individually, for groups, clubs or a company's staff. Content and length depend on the time available and on whether the participants have prior experience.
